Below are the 2010 1% for the Tetons Grant Finalists. Collectively, they requested $300,000 in grant money from 1% for the Tetons. Traditionally, grants have been funded solely by 1% for the Tetons Members, but in 2010, everyone had an opportunity to help these organizations reach their goals.
During the Sustainability Grants Conference at Spring Creek Ranch on Saturday, May 8, 2010, each of the following 19 organizations made 5 − minute presentations supporting their project. You can learn more about these projects by clicking through to their project page to read the brief description, watch the video (please allow a few seconds for the video to load for the best viewing experience), and review their grant application (available as PDF download).
In the end, we were able to raise $122,402 to fully fund 10 of these projects, and an additional $9,806 went to the 9 projects that we were not able to fully fund. To see how all funds were allocated, please view the list of 201 Grant Awards.
Note that the final amounts in each project's fundraising thermometer below reflects only those funds donated by non-1% members.
