A continuation of the Food/Paperboard Compost Pilot Project which was partially funded by the 2007 1% for the Tetons Grant. In Phase II, The Teton Conservation
District, Terra Firma Organics, Teton County, Wyoming and Jackson Community Recycling are proposing an expanded program to identify a technology to collect and process an increased volume of food waste, paperboard and waxy cardboard. The collected material will continue to be processed at Terra Firma’s composting site at the Teton County Transfer Station.
